Kim Gravatt is a classically-trained musician who has been involved with several projects around the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, including psychedelic rock band Fractal Cat, funk-rock band Subtle Hustle, and alternative rock band Slow Lights. Playing the flute, the alto and baritone saxophones, singing, and playing a variety of percussion instruments, Kim has graced the stage at such venues as The 8×10, Ottobar, The Atlas Performing Arts Center, Gypsy Sally’s, and Horseshoe Casino. Her most recent solo project takes her original songs to a new level using a loops to create a hypnotic blanket of wind instruments. Kim draws inspiration from legends Jethro Tull, The Meters, The Greyboy Allstars, and Led Zeppelin, as well as regional acts Big Something and Moon Hooch.
